Summer women's shoes 2025 : Carine Landau's selection
The sun is starting to peek through. Our wardrobe is adjusting, much to our delight.
Fashion has made its grand appearance in the most beautiful capitals of the world. Boutiques will now guide us in our choices. But remember, fashion is above all your own – the art of mixing what you already have with new trends.
So, are you ready to show off your shoes this summer?
Here are my tips and advice for selecting the must-haves that will accompany you all season long.
Top women's shoe trends for summer 2025
This year, several elements stand out:
- Fringes: Casual and bohemian, fringes add a touch of freedom to your outfits.
- Ribbons: Elegant and feminine, tie them delicately around your ankles.
- Silver: A sparkling metallic touch to shine day and night.
- PVC: Transparent or coloured, it adds a futuristic, fun touch.
- Colour: Make way for bright shades such as orange, blue or green, perfect for livening up your summer looks.
Why your shoes make all the difference 💫
A great outfit is sublimated by a well-chosen pair of shoes. They’re not just a simple accessory:
1. They complete your look. An elegant pair enhances your whole figure.
2. They reflect your personality. Colourful, minimalist or extravagant, they make a statement.
3. They boost your confidence. As Marilyn Monroe said: ‘Give a woman the right pair of shoes and she conquers the world.
Here are my 10 must-have pieces to keep for the long term ⭐
Here’s a selection of models to choose from for a long-lasting, stylish wardrobe.
These models can be matched and reinvented with your current wardrobe.
Don’t miss the chance to bring out some of the styles already in your wardrobe!
2. The Mary Jane version
From the perfect little girl to the businesswoman, they are ultra-comfortable – whether with heels or completely flat. Available in silver at Beryl.
Or gold, depending on your color preference. As a reminder, a “warm” skin tone will favor gold, while a “cool” skin tone will prefer silver – despite the trend.
4. Sneakers
Sneakers are a top choice for their comfort. Beyond being comfortable, they combine practicality and style.
Here’s my selection:
- High-top sneakers with fringes by Stella McCartney for Adidas
The Kick model by Chloé.
They can also be worn in vibrant, fun, and original colors.
I’m suggesting them in pink, not only because they’ve made their way into my wardrobe but especially because pink is one of the major trends for the summer of 2025.Nike Air Max DN8 or by Loewe.
More accessible at Nike.
The Air Jordans versionLet’s not forget the great comeback of the Puma Speedcat in the motorsport version.
Bold and accessible, find them created by Wales Bonner for fans of leopard prints.
10. Boots
Because winter isn’t over, let’s protect our feet. After biker boots, here come the cowboy boots, with or without fringes, just like in the 2000s – remember?
In all transparency, these models add a futuristic and modern touch to your look.
Whether covering the entire shoe or just the heel, discover PVC boots. Be careful, plastic can make your feet sweat. If the entire shoe is made of PVC, I recommend wearing it only for an evening.
We love them for showcasing your feet.
The fashion shows set the tone for what you’ll find in stores. Then, it’s up to us to find, based on your style and budget, the piece that will accompany you all summer long.
Marilyn Monroe used to say how giving a woman the right pair of shoes allowed her to conquer the world. She was so right!
Tips to make your shoes stand out 👡
Personalisation is key! Here are a few ideas to make your shoes unique:
- Add shoe jewellery or a few stones to stick on your shoes.
- Replace your classic laces with coloured or sparkling ribbons.
- Play around with removable accessories to vary the style (anklets, tassels, etc.).
Gaining elegance and confidence with every step🚶♀️
Put on your best shoes. Smile – at yourself. You’re a knockout!
If you’re worried about falling over, about losing your elegance, think about practising and surrounding yourself with the best tips. Try these first exercises:
- Exercise 1: Feel your balance. Once you’re on your feet, take a moment to feel every part of your body. Find your stability.
- Exercise 2: Practise walking backwards. This improves your posture and coordination. Breathe in, breathe out and walk with a light heart.

My golden rules for your shoes ✨
Comfort first: never compromise! A painful shoe spoils your look.
Enhance your style: If they’re well chosen, they’ll attract attention and add character to your outfit.
Dare to go high (in heels or spirit): They symbolise your ambitions, while remaining adapted to your pace.
So get out your best shoes or go in search of new rare gems. Every step you take brings you closer to your assertive, unique style. 🌟
